CLOSES SALE OF APPLICATION FORM.

The management of the University of Ibadan,Nigeria,on Sunday,31st of July,2011,announced the closure of the postgraduate application forms.
This was made known in the bulletin released by the management of the postgraduate school of the institution.
Speaking on the development, the Dean of the Postgraduate School,Professor A.O Olorunnisola stated that those who have already obtained the application form could continue with their registrations.According to him,the closure only affects those who intend to purchase forms so as to apply for masters degrees. He stressed that the forms for the M Phil programmes and the Doctor of Philosophy programmes are still available for sale.
However, report has it that most applicants are having problems in registering their forms online due to congestion of the postgraduate school’s website.
Reacting to this,a post graduate applicant,Nyamu Terwase confirmed that he purchased his online form about a month ago,and at interview time,he still has not successfully completed his registration.
In the same vein,a student of the postgraduate school who spoke anonymously said that he would never advise anybody, not even his enemy to apply for a post graduate degree in the University of Ibadan. This he claimed was due to the fact that the running of the School is disorganised.
He also made reference to the poor internet access which makes it difficult for both returning and also the intending student to access their data online.
